Renewing your Credentials

Please see below details on renewal of your credential

What's my Renewal Date?

Your renewal date will be determined from the date of issue of your credential (see date on your current certificate)

Recovery and Wellness Coach Credentials

The following credentials are renewable as indicated below

ICARC  -  International Certified Recovery Coach

ICARC - A  -  International Certified Recovery Coach Advanced

Initial Credential Term 2 years. Thereafter the credential must be renewed annually


ICRWC  -  Certified Recovery and Wellness Coach

ICPRWC  -  Certified Professional Recovery and Wellness Coach

Initial Credential Term 3 years. Thereafter the credential must be renewed annually


Requirements for renewal

  • Payment of renewal Fee
  • Submission of completion of Recovery and Wellness Coaching Specific Training including 1 hour of IRWCCB approved ethics for the relevant credential for the credentialing year
  • Submission of minimum Recovery and Wellness Coaching Hours of relevant credential as below

Please note the following:

Applications for renewals must be made no less than 30 days before the renewal date.
